The U8 Division has practices every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6 PM and plays games on Saturday mornings.

The U8 division is strictly instructional. No scores will be kept. The league will provide one center referee to assist coaches in instructing players on the rules and methods of the game.
Games consist of four 10 minute quarters.
This age group will use a size 3 soccer ball.
Only one coach from each team is allowed on the field during the game if a center referee has been provided. The assistant coach may stand on the sideline or behind their team’s goal.
The U8 division will play 4v4 and will NOT have goalies.
If a sufficient number of players are registered, the division will be split into two divisions: U7 and U8, or boys and girls. This will be determined by the soccer board.
Participation awards will be given to all players after the last game.
One re-try is to be awarded for throw-ins and dead-ball kicks.
If one team cannot field 4 players, the opposing team will match down to a minimum of 3 players. No team may participate in a game with less than 3 players. If both teams agree the extra players from the team with more players may play on the other team. Pennies must be worn by those players so as not to confuse the other team.
Teams are to utilize a separate sideline from fans and family as a bench area.
All current FIFA and Club rules are to be followed for game play except there is to be no direct kicks or penalty kicks and offsides shall not be called.
